RNH Poetry Contest

RNH is celebrating National Poetry Month! Submit your poem to win two day passes to the RNH pool and to participate in a poetry reading at RNH.

RNH is accepting poetry submissions with the theme community in three categories: middle school, high school, and adult.

Guidelines:

  • Submit one poem in any style that addresses the theme community via email with the subject line “Poetry Contest” to ltorres@riverdaleonline.org as a PDF attachment

  • The poem should include the poet’s name, category (middle school, high school, or adult), and the title of the poem. 

  • Deadline: Friday, April 25, 2025

Winners will be announced on 4/30/25. In addition to receiving pool passes, the winners will be invited to read their poems during RNH Community Day on Saturday, May 17, 2025.
