Fill the Fridge: Thanksgiving Edition

Share the love (and leftovers) this Thanksgiving! Stop by RNH from Wednesday, November 20th - 27th to pick up containers and labels for your extra holiday food, then fill up The Neighborhood Fridge on 256th or Friendly Fridge on 242nd to help neighbors in need enjoy a hearty meal. This is a simple way to make a big impact, reducing food waste and spreading holiday warmth throughout our community. Containers and labels will be available to make it easy to package and donate. Let’s give thanks by giving back!

Please refrain from dropping off meals after Saturday, November 30th due to the risk of foodborne illnesses. 

Students who participate will earn an hour of community service. They must send a photo of packing the meals and the drop-off to Natalie Cruz, Community & Volunteer Program Manager at RNH. She will send you a confirmation letter of your service hours. She can be reached at ncruz@riverdaleonline.org.
