Academic Programs
RNH offers three key programs for teen’s academic development. Learn about the Academic Resource Center, the College Development Program, and the Summer Bridge program below.

The program is open to teens attending high school between the ages of 14 and 18.

We offer tutoring and college development workshops. The Academic Resource Center is our tutoring program, and the College Development and Summer Bridge Programs support students in the college process.

Our academic year programs typically begin around October. The Academic Resource Center is available Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 3:00-6:00 PM.
The College Development Program does not have a regular schedule of workshops and trips. Participants will be notified of upcoming events once they enroll in the program.
The Summer Bridge Program is offered during the first two weeks of July.

The Summer Bridge Program does offer a stipend to students who complete the program.

These programs take place onsite at Riverdale Neighborhood House in our teen building. But we do offer virtual tutoring if needed.

To join either the Academic Resource Center or College Development Program, please fill out this form. Registration for either Academic Resource Center or College Development Program automatically enrolls you in the other program.
The Summer Bridge Program application will be released in May 2025.
