Remembering Sarah Gund

The RNH family is mourning the loss of Sarah Gund. Sarah was the heart and soul of RNH. She was a dedicated board member, previous board President, and most importantly, an incredibly kind, caring, and genuine neighbor. As a lifelong educator, she cared deeply about child development. As a Riverdalian from childhood, she was continuously invested in the community, her hands quite literally in the soil of so many projects, programs, and initiatives. Sarah embodied what it meant to be a good neighbor. We will miss her greatly and our condolences go out to her family, friends, and neighbors.

RNH will commemorate Sarah in the coming weeks.  For now, we want to share the personal and beautiful perspective offered in her obituary in the New York Times.
