Bring your food scraps on Thursdays btwn 1pm and 6pm

We are partnering with the NY Compost Project and the Big Reuse to bring food scrap drop-off to Riverdale. Find the compost bins in front of our main building on Thursday afternoons.

We accept:

  • Vegetables, fruits, grains, spices

  • Eggshells, nuts

  • Dried flowers, houseplants

  • Coffee filters, tea bags

We do not accept:

  • Meat, fish, fairy

  • BPI-certified compostable plastic

Bring your food scraps to RNH on Thursdays between 12pm and 6pm
