The Summer Internship Application is Live

Our Summer 2023 Career and College Youth Internship Program Food & Farm Application is now available for all high school students.

The RNH Food and Farm internship is a hands-on environmental internship that explores gardening, food systems, and mutual aid.

Over the course of 7 weeks, interns maintain vegetable beds, manage a weekly farm stand, develop recipes and dishes using ingredients from the garden, and help manage the Neighborhood Fridge — a community fridge located at Riverdale Neighborhood House.

Using food as a lens to examine social justice issues, interns gain a deeper understanding of food and environmental justice, including topics on food access, regenerative agriculture, mutual aid, and sustainability.  No experience is needed.

Applications are due Friday, May 26th.

There are only six spaces available for this internship.
